Salisbury, only thirty miles from Bournemouth, with its magnificent cathedral dominating the landscape, in which one of the four remaining copies of Magna Carter that has shaped the very essence of western civilisation can be found.

The Purbeck hills and the Jurassic Southern Coast cannot be bettered for their beauty and breath taking views.  Stonehenge, whether seen in terms of myth or pre-history is a world heritage site that has enthused the thinking of western civilisation.
